     Welcome to my new website! Since GoDaddy gave me a free website when I got my domain name, I may as well use it!  I will be adding pages as I go including a blogpage, a photo gallery and a page where my musical experiments will be available.      Resolutions always seem to be the "in thing" to do at the beginnig of each new year. I gave up on that years ago. I've discovered that for me, it is better to take smaller steps, such as daily resolutions. I find that I can accomplish much more taking one step at a time than to try to make grandiose, pie-in-the-sky promises to myself. My struggles are from day to day and even more often, moment to moment. Knowing that I have a God who is bigger than any of my circumstances gives me confidence that I can handle whatever comes my way. His word is my strength and his promises are permanant. Today's promise comes from Isaiah chapter 41:  

¹⁰ So do not fear, for I am with you;
   do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
   I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
¹¹ “All who rage against you
   will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
   will be as nothing and perish.
¹² Though you search for your enemies,
   you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
   will be as nothing at all.
¹³ For I am the LORD your God
   who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
   I will help you.
